review 1: This is a great book. Pierdomenico is an amazing storyteller and the translator is great at what she does. Like in some books where the translation is off, it is terrible to read. This book is written as if it was written in English first. It flows really nicely. Also, this book has a great plotline that I absolutely have fallen in love with. It combines the perfect amount of mystery, comedy, and suspense to make the perfect series. This series is truly great and anyone can read it. This one will keep you wanting more!
review 2: I picked this book up at the library because it looked interesting. It's an intriguing concept and fairly well written. I am still a little confused, but I think that's as the author intended. I am involved enough to look for the other
... morethree books and read them as we'll. I believe I should fully understand everything then. It reminds me a little of what I think the Da Vinci Code must be like (I haven't read that book because I hear the writing is terrible), but also a little in concept of Dragon Magic by Andre Norton, with the intertwined kids from different cultures taking part I something larger than just their individual pieces. I'm definitely intrigued. less
