review 1: Rue decides to try out a girl 1 time and gets her pregnant. The girl doesn't want the baby, so Rue as the father takes her. Rue is in beauty school and works at a night club. He doesn't want to leave his baby in daycare, so out of desperation he asks his quirky neighbor, to watch the baby. Erik is a sci-fi author, that doesn't sell many books. In desperation for money he agrees to babysit Alice. Over the months Rue and Erik become friends and eventually fall in love. Can these two polar opposites make a family?I LOVED this book. It was so sweet. There wasn't a whole lot of angst really. It took Rue and Erik a long time to get together, but when they did the sparks fly. I loved that this wasn't insta love. You got to watch these two men get to know each other and fall in lo... moreve. I loved Dusty, and can't wait to read his book and hopefully see more of Rue, Erik and Alice :)
review 2: Ok so I stepped out of my comfort zone for this one, or maybe it was just trying something I normally would not pick up. For various reasons, and here they are.1: Twinks/guy that wear makeup and/or girls clothes. There is nothing wrong with this, I just tend to want read about two big buff cops/firefighters/atheletes that fall helplessly in love with one another. And well Rue was none of the above.2. Kids in books, again sometimes they work for me in a book cause it works with the plot. But most of the time I want mc1 to be able to bend mc2 over the couch/kitchen table/ect when ever the mood strikes. But oh how these two things made this book AWESOME. While I didn't really like how Rue ended up with his daughter, I wanted to give him a HUGE hug when he took her. And I just adored how Erik is with her. And the slow build up made this book oh so much more believable. So to the authors, thank you!!!! So I am glad I stepped out of my "normal box" cause I highly enjoyed this one. less

Very heart warming. A lot of fluff and thin story plot though.
