review 1: Now, I understand why Five hates Nine so badly. He was brainwashed. And he also killed Ethan with his own hands like what he exactly despise of Nine. I wonder if they'll ever like each other for they'll be a hell of a team. I doubt that the higher the number is the greater your capabilities are. Therefore, Seven is more powerful than Six? But Six looks like a badass but that may be due to her rough past toughing her up.
review 2: Wow I'm so conflicted as to how I feel about Five. On one hand I feel sorry for him because he's been manipulated, he has so much pressure on his shoulders which he's always had even as a child and his circumstances were difficult but then he is so gullible and it's like he has no willpower and thoughts, he's so malleable. As I've said... more it's a good change because he's an interesting character but its frustrating reading his misconceptions and his disturbing way of thinking. But I enjoyed this story because it allowed you to see a lot of backstory like why he hated Nine so much. Anyway it was enjoyable to read but just infuriating because for most of the book I just wanted to reach inside and slap some sense into Five! less
