review 1: Not bad. It's most just a collection of blog posts. Each chapter reads and feels like a blog. It's kinda rant-y, very opinionated, but casual and amusing. Myers in this book doesn't bring anything new to the table. Every argument has been done before, he just uses a few different examples, but the message is still the same. If you've been an atheist for a while now you won't learn anything from this book, and if you're a new atheist I still wouldn't recommend this book because it's just a rant blog post collection and isn't very structured (the chapters jump all over the place and the last just ends out of nowhere with no real conclusion). If you want something more structured and compelling I recommend 'The God Delusion' by Richard Dawkins, 'Why I Believed: Reflections of ... morea Former Missionary' by Kenneth W Daniels, or 'The Skeptic's Annotated Bible' by Steve Wells. These are much better.
review 2: The author largely makes fun of Christians for several reasons, some of which I agree with. There seems to be a willful ignorance among Christians that makes them believe that even though you have faith, you check your brain at the door. While I can get on board with some of his arguments and he is entertaining, I largely disagree with his stance. I just like to know what the other side is arguing. less

Delightfully irreverent, and at times quite touching.
