review 1: In the Stowaway, Drizzit takes a backseat to being the lead character for a new hero named Miamum. Co-written with his son, Geno Salvatore, a new adventure is launched in the middle of Drizzit's own epic tale. While very short, the book does itself justice by keeping everything fast paced. The action, the plot, the characters, everything is rushed, but not too fast that the reader can't keep up with it. Father and Son both do a good job at giving a new life to so many tales set in the same world at the same time without giving away too much of what's happening in R.A.'s other series.
review 2: Not a bad book, though I must say it felt more like just half a book. The cliche cliff-hanger ending was a little disappointing, and some of the story had a "this is a ga
... moreme I was in" feel to it, but as it seemed to have been an enjoyable game, I didn't mind. I was hoping for a bit more substance, but I did like that the character developed over the course of this first book. Drizzt was in it more than I expected and having read only the first book about him, it was neat to see him matured and hanging with an awesome group of adventurers. Haze was awesome. Simply awesome. I'd love her to come back into the series. less

Drags along slowly. I was very disappointed, as I love all the Drizzt books.
