review 1: I don't really have much to say on this one. I didn't dislike it but I didn't love it either. I did struggle at times to continue reading, but on several occasions throughout the book there were some exciting events that took place that made me want to read on. I guess it's your typical romance where the unlikely couple get together after many hurdles and it all ends happily. A good read if you're looking for something light and cheery :-)
review 2: I met Rachael at RWA National this year, and had a funny feeling I knew her from somewhere. Turns out we were already friends on Ravelry and had had an interesting discussion about writing and publishing a year ago. When I realized she wrote knitlit, I had to read one of her books. This is fun contemporary romance, ... morewhich has just the right balance of humor and emotion - and a knitting pattern in the back, too. I'll be heading back to Cypress Hollow again. I suspect that if you like my Coxwell Series (esp All or Nothing by Deborah Cooke), you'll like Rachael's books, too. less
