review 1: เรื่องปูพื้นหลังได้ดีมาก สองตระกูลเก่าแก่เจ้าของไร่ในรัฐภาคใต้ มีประวัติยาวตั้งแต่ก่อนสงครามกลางเมือง และจนถึงปัจจุบันสองตระกูลนี้ก็ยังเป็นคุ่แข่งกันอยู่ ... คือเราชอบแนวการเดินเรื่องของเรื่อง แต่จบเร็วไปหน่อย มันดูผลุนผลันเกินไป อยากได้ยาวกว่านี้อีก
review 2: My Review:I really loved this st... moreory. It was sweet and really romantic. Blue and Kasper had basically a single night twenty-two years ago when he took her virginity and then stood her up the next day. She's never seen him since, but their families have a feud that goes back generations. As a result, his grandmother shows up on Blue's steps to make amends for past wrongs to her grandmother's grave. That brings the two back together and those same old sparks fly. This is a short story, but it didn't feel short on anything besides the time needed to commit to reading it. It was a really good book. I love that both the hero and heroine are in their mid-40's now and are old enough to really recognize and appreciate a good thing when they see it. And the chemistry between them...it's a very good thing. I liked it. About a quarter of the book is flashbacks to their encounter 22 years ago and that provided the emotional attachment to that event...rather than just seeing it as a one-night stand where the guy "got some" and then left. It was so much more than that for both of them. This little sojourn into the deep south was definitely emotionally satisfying and an entertaining read. It was well-worth the time and money. I recommend it if you're looking for something a bit shorter, but still want a full story. less
