review 1: Like other reviewers here, I was at a loss on how to rate this one. I of course didn't 'like' the story, but if nothing else, I found it extremely compelling. The books I enjoy the most, make me feel something, and I had a boatload of feelings with this one. I was disgusted, sad, furious and a myriad of other emotions. I am very interested to read the fates of Dougie and Mat. Underneath it all, I found this first part of the story well written and completely captivating.
review 2: First this book is a serial which pisess me off. Spending $3 a pop for a few chapters making a book cost a fortune is a rip off. Second this was just so disturbing. The rape and torture of two brothers is most definitely not my taste. Even if my morbid curiosity would compel me to rea... mored beyond in hopes that these two poor men would be free the ridiculous cost to satisfy that curiosity would stop me. Awful, hated it won't read more. less
