review 1: While not terrible, this book just didn't hit the right notes for me. It had all the elements to make a good book, but the execution fell short. Time travel is tricky to do well, and unfortunately, it didn't happen here. Less adapted to the present day WAY too quickly and well, the insta-romance with Austin was forced and unlikely, and everything just felt rushed. There were numerous little subplots and characters that were never fleshed out, making them essentially unnecessary. And the author's writing style was just not as polished as I would like - frequently immature, overly flowery and eye-roll inducing (for me). But I applaud her effort and see potential for growth.
review 2: well, the blurb was the best part about this book. kindle daily deals doesnt lis
... moret the rest of the description with the name of the series.. book seems to be written for teenagers by a teenager. i'll be requesting a refund. i couldn't get past 20% it was so dull. amazon ought to fix their blurb on this book - very misleading. it sounds like it's going to be good; but it was so awful i couldn't even make myself finish it. less
