review 1: Though the title and cover illustration peg this a chick fluff it far exceeded my expectations. The characters are constructed with depth, their interweaving lives and the storyline plausible. Granted, I am on a yoga kick and do happen to have an interest in the trendy Silver Lake neighborhood in which this novel takes place. Still, it is always such a delight to find pleasure in a book, to look forward to cuddling beneath the covers and reading until my eyelids are simply to heavy to stay open anymore.
review 2: To be fair, I didn't finish this book, or even half of it. While the idea of a yoga class as the setting for a novel intrigued me, the characters just weren't compelling enough to hold my attention. Many of them seemed too self-centered or selfish, the
... more opposite of what yoga generally promotes. If I had liked even a few of them enough, I would have pushed through to the end. I was curious to see how yoga-as-plot-foundation could bring healing and growth to those characters with genuine wounds. Instead, the yoga seems incidental to the story, used to ride a trend. less

Not a gripping novel, but a nice easy read. Would be a great beach/travel book.
