review 1: Fabulous. It was not what I was expecting, but I ended up loving it anyways. This book is almost intoxicating and certainly left me wanting more. It ended up being a beautifully told story of Ram Dass and his relationship to his guru, Maharajji. What a fascinating tale of spiritual quest and spiritual life. I am anxious to read more of Ram Dass' books. I will most certainly be thinking about this one for quite some time.
review 2: Third in Ram Dass's 40-year trilogy in the making...now made. Follows "Be Here Now" and "Still Here" (my personal favorite, along with "How Can I Help?" w/ Paul Gorman). While "Still Here" focused on aging and changing in the 'latter years', a pertinent topic in my own life, "Be Love Now" is mostly a reflection on the guru path to enl... moreightenment. Ram Dass, in his wise way, sees and honors many paths. This happens to be his. A book for those who are intrigued by devotion, with fascinating stories of Eastern gurus from the distant and more recent past. less
