“If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be
Baby, just let it be…”
Have any of you hear that song? It’s a compilation by Bebe Rhexa and Florida Georgia Line titled “Meant to Be.”
I love country music, and while this song isn’t 100% country, it’s become a new favorite.
Listening to the song, I get lost in the country crossed pop song, thinking about life.
The lyrics sort of speak to me about a lot of areas in my life. For me, I feel I can apply this to my job and my relationships.
But more importantly, my relationships… Or lack thereof.
It’s another saying that’s easier said, or sang, then done. But lately, that’s the only way I have been able to get through everything I’m going through.
Like last night, for example, I went through a moment of not letting things be.
I had a small get together with a few friends and the night didn’t end according to plan.
Normally, this would have triggered me, but lately I was coming to a point where it wouldn’t have… Except I had a few too many glasses of wine, and well, we all know how that ends!
But part of my journey lately has been to only drink a glass of red wine a day, and apparently my tolerance has lowered quite a lot since Christmas Eve.
This morning, I have a more clear image of what went wrong last night…
So, “who knows where this road is supposed to lead. We got nothing but time…”
