review 1: Excellent story, with greatly instructive detail and very believable dialogue. The carefully executed conditioning of extremely young and vulnerable girls, as well depicted in this story, is SICK and ABHORRENT. Which brings me to my only criticism: I thought the story's conclusion was too quick and superficial. After all the heartless horror inflicted by these kidnappers and pimps, I (the reader) had waited patiently for the bad dudes to get their just desserts. But we didn't really get that because it was sort of glossed over. But, all in all, I recommend the book as a well-constructed insight into the sordid world of human trafficking.
review 2: This book was hard for me to get through. I started this book earlier in the year and stopped reading it beca
... moreuse of the reality horror of it. I have three daughters and nine nieces and the more I read this book the more I feared for them. Although this book was gut-wrenching for me it was also an eye opener. Human-trafficking is real and it's happening everyday to our sons and daughters. This book has left me broken hearted for our children whose has been enslaved in this cruel life. Today I have finally completed this book. I want to encourage everyone to pick up this book and read it. It's truly worth it. Don't just stop at the eulogy, continue on to the author's note for some important information on human-trafficking. less
