The Pantone color of the year is Ultra-Violet. Our word for the year is optimism.
I can’t help but feel that great things are in store this year, and I am willing to wear the purple to prove it.
We have a festival almost every month of 2018, with more fun stuff filling in the calendar every day.
For me, the best thing about ukulele is CONNECTION. I hope that I get the chance to connect with you in 2018: come to an event, send a message, write a letter, read an article. I am OPTIMISTIC that we can make the world a better place by CONNECTING!
UKULELE EVENTS for 2018January 20th HALE UKULELE San Diego CA 4:30-6:30 pm Daniel will be teaching his Ukulele Meditations and we will do a “Demonstration” (pink hats optional on this day, in solidarity with other demonstrations!)
February 22-24 PALM STRINGS UKULELE FESTIVAL, Palm Springs, CA
March 24 PHOENIX LIBRARY (More info soon- this is a dedication/concert at a public library in Phoenix AZ)
April 3-5 Artists in residence WESTBOROUGH MA PUBLIC SCHOOLS Not a public gig, but the kind we LOVE to do! We will be teaching and performing for the kids of Westborough. We are going to try to line something “public” up in the area while we are there. Ideas? Drop us a message!
