31 Days, 31 Drawings

“It’s not about making the greatest drawings, it’s about developing positive drawing habits.”     – Jake Parker

In 2009, Jake Parker, an illustrator, cartoonist and concept artist, created the Inktober to challenge himself to improve his inking skills and to develop positive drawing habits. Now, artists from all over the world take on the challenge every year.

Inktober is a worldwide art challenge where you do different drawings for every day in October. Your goal here is to not just come up with perfect drawings  but to see improvements at the end of the month. If you want to get better and be more confident at drawing, pick up your pen and try to push yourself to do a little prompt each day. Happy Inktober!
