A new character comes forward, and I suspect he might cause problems for Annie.
His name is Don, and Annie meets him at a party thrown by her friends Dave and Ig, who are successful TV producers. Don is quite rude to Nick, and when he goes, Nick is not happy.
The next time Annie sees Don is in her workplace. Don is actually her superior, some kind of CEO of the magazine. In that first encounter Don takes Annie to lunch; I don’t know what to think about Don. He is too pushy for my taste. I think he might like Annie too much, and I wonder if Annie likes him too. What is clear is that Annie is not happy with the new situation with Nick, and she feels he is acting like a child, and not like the man she would like him to be.
