I just didn’t have any interest in this work at all. It wasn’t really bad, the writing was rather nice and even bearable. But it just wasn’t my taste at all.
I just didn’t care about the main mystery or the novel itself. I just find it a tad too generic, unable to even connect with the main characters in the least. I really didn’t care about anything at all regarding this mystery.
But as I said, the writing was readable just that I couldn’t really care anything about it at all. It just lost my interest in the content but kept it going through the writing.
