All the info: Blade Runner 2049 arrives on 4K UHD, Ltd Edition Blu-ray and DVD on 5 February

Alongside 8-BAFTA nominations, Blade Runner 2049 was one of the most unique visual escapism thrillers in years and despite the spectre of the original hanging over it, before release, Denis Villeneuve and his team created something utterly unique in its own right and helped expand the world of Ridley Scott’s original.

Today we’ve all got all the info for the Sony Pictures Home Entertainment release of Blade Runner 2049, which will be available on digital download and Sky’s Buy & Keep program on January 28, plus on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray Ltd edition (http://amzn.to/2D9kxPe) and DVD (http://amzn.to/2D6V6xz) on February 5.

The film stars Ryan Gosling as K and Harrison Ford reprises his role as Rick Deckard, alongside a super-impressive co-starring cast of Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, and Lennie James, with Dave Bautista and Jared Leto. The BAFTA-noms include Best Director, Original Music, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, Make Up & Hair, Sound and Special Visual Effects.

Set 30 years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
