I have been dreaming about this banana bread since I ate it last 5 years ago. When I go to my grandparent’s cottage in Dalarna I always hope that we will visit my grandfather’s (farfar) brother on the way home. This time we did! They are so lovely and it always a great talk. But as a food lover, I am, I can tell you that my farfar’s sister in law does the best banana bread in the whole world!
Lucky me, I got the recipe and I gave it a go. The result was not as good as hers but it was delightful anyway with the texture from the walnuts and I think next time I will nail it
