My Thoughts –

This is an eBook I requested and was given a copy of from NetGallery. I love a good romance eBook, I can get through them really fast. This book was no different. I got through it really fast but I didn’t want it to end.

The story follow Carrie, a single young mother juggling the demands of her busy hotel work life with her young child. In the midst of all the holiday juggling, Carrie’s ex-Rockstar of a boyfriend turns up into town to go public with his fake engagement. As the two collide into each other lives one more time, they both learn things they never thought they would. A Christmas to change all Christmases.

This book is really cute. A typical, you know what you are going to get from a quick Christmas themed romance novel. A lot of clichés but well done in the end. A short story, but a great story about picking your own family and knowing when to let go. It will tug on your heart strings as it made me cry a little bit at the end.

The writing is great. The characters in this short story even grow a lot by the end of the story and it just is really a cute story. It was able to pull me out of my f=reading funk.

If you are looking for a quirky clichés Christmas story, then this is the book for you.

I give this book 4.8 out of 5 Booky Stars!
