Across the Universe by Beth Revis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Rating: 5/5
Amy left everything behind and joined her scientist parents on a journey across the universe. But, 50 years before she’s supposed to arrive to her new planet, she’s victim of a murder attempt that forces her awake.
Elder is a precious bean, and you can’t convince me otherwise. He’s supposed to be the next leader aboard Godspeed, but he isn’t sure why yet. While helping Amy solve who tried to kill her, he starts to question how Eldest does things.
I really liked this book–and the entire trilogy in fact. It’s cute but also makes you think about what freedom truly is. It poses a lot of questions of right and wrong, all while taking you on a trip through space.
Read this if you enjoyed the plot in Illuminae Files.
