I only recently did a post on Oli from Bring Me The Horizon a few days ago, so I’m clearly loving them at the moment.

But anyway, this post is going to be short and sweet. I’m going to talk about an amazing album, ‘That’s the Spirit’. Even though, this album has been around for a while, it still remains their latest album release, so hurry up and make a new one please, boys.
The first time I listened to That’s the Spirit was about a year or so after its release. I was hesitant to listen at first because I had heard some mixed reviews, but that shouldn’t have stopped me.
After diving into a deep hole of BMTH videos on YouTube, I decided to bite the bullet and give this album a full listen, and after a little extra persuasion from a friend, that’s what I did.
I love this album, it’s not too much of the classic BMTH you would expect, but it’s not so far away from that classic sound that still makes them recognisable on this record.
At one point, I was listening to this album daily, and then I would go onto YouTube to watch the music videos and then the live performances of the singles.
I was just a little obsessed.
Even though I no longer listen to this album on a daily basis, I still go back to it every now and again, and I’m thankful that this collection of songs made me a true Bring Me The Horizon fan.
Now I just have to wait until they return to Manchester for a live show and then my life will be complete (well, my life probably won’t be complete), but that would make me very happy.
