Artemis Fowl
review 1: A comedic joy ride through a world enlivened by fairy's, spirits, and demons. Our main character Artemis Fowl is faced with the task of ridding his brothers of evil spirits that his arch nemesis, a pixie known as Opal Koboi has infested the realms with. There is a time limit however until dusk so we are given a rapid fast paced dialogue to keep us enthralled. The book is hardcover and set within a larger series. I would recommend this story to those looking for a little laugh and also enjoy a little fantasy as well.
review 2: In the beginning it was a bit slow, like all books, but as I read on, it became hard to put down. The way the story was written made it flow nicely and although there were some curses here and there, I would still recommend it to anyone wh
... moreo hasn't read it. I am really into fantasy books, like ranger's apprentice, and it fit in really well with what books I like to read. The ending was really sad (but I'm not allowed to give spoilers) but that is what makes the reader want to read more books like it. If the author makes any more books to this series (but he probably won't) then I will be sure to read them and write more reviews. I really liked the parts in the story where there was a lot of action and the parts where the berserkers inherited the ancient peoples bodies made me want to read it more (again, because of ranger's apprentice). This was an all together great book and I am hoping that they will make more. More book reviews coming in the future, I hope you enjoyed and are interested to read this book. less
