To celebrate their 10 year wedding anniversary, Chy & Shannon decided to renew their vows and have a vintage-themed party with their family & friends! They are close friends of ours and we actually had the privilege of being there the moment they met. So, we of course we were honored to be there on this special day too! They have 2 beautiful children and the focus of the day was celebrating this wonderful family and their love for each other.
Chy wore her mom’s wedding gown that was altered to mix in her style as well. Her and her daughter got ready for the day here at our studio and then we headed off to Buell Lake for their photo session.
Mike is Kaiden’s Godfather and I love this photo of him pinning on his boutonniere. I think it would be super cute to recreate this on Kaiden’s wedding day.
A random stranger had this awesome old truck at the park and asked if we wanted to use it in the photos…how cool is that!?
Their vow renewal ceremony and dinner reception following was held at Crystal Gardens in Clio. They had collected vintage china which was used on the dinner table, pie table (so cute!) and coffee station. They accented with candelabras, bird cages, crates, mirrors, and a backdrop of antique doors made by Chy’s dad. It turned out beautiful!
