The City of Klamath Falls is violating its geothermal ordinance, according to Public Works Director Mark Willrett. He asked members of council and city staff Monday how the city plans to address the issue.
The discussion occurred in a work session about the conditions of one of its aquifers where Willrett said that the city is pumping water out and not re-injecting it back into the aquifer at certain locations at and near Ella Redkey Pool.
