review 1: I adore this book. Emily Gravett portrays the pigs as capturing their premature. Not only do they capture him but they cut him in half, dress him in a bow, and parade him around in a show. Until finally the wolf that won't bite had had enough and bit the pigs. The illustrations are so vibrant and colorful they immediately grab the audiences attention. Also the text throughout the book is loud and theatrical which makes this book a great fun read aloud book.
review 2: This is a humorous book that is also quite cautionary. It depicts a group of pigs who take it for granted that a docile wolf will not bite them no matter what they subject him to.I think it's probably a good one for our girls, especially as they take it for granted that our lovely German Shepherd ... morewill never bite them, no matter what they subject her to. I'm not sure they have learned the lesson, though, and I hope they never learn it the hard way.Overall, we thought this was an entertaining book with fun illustrations. We enjoyed reading it together. less
