January 11, 2018, was the Critics’ Choice Awards and the stars showed up in spectacular fashion! Here are some of my Best & Worst dressed celebs! Whose did you Love or Not Love?
Best 1. Rachel BrosnahanI have to admit Rachel is new to me, I didn’t know really who she was until the Golden Globes where she also looked stunning. The actress donned a Zuhair Murad dress with Nicholas Kirkwood heels. This dress was perfect, it was feminine & a little edgy and I love the length! She styled her dress with a Tyler Ellis clutch and Messika jewelry. Can I just say those ear cuffs are amazing!

2. Diane Kruger
This dress at first glance I didn’t think I was going to like but then after seeing the details of the chainlink style bodice I loved it! It’s soft and flows but also hard & edgy and I love the combination of the two elements. Her dress is from the 2018 Spring Vera Wang Collection and she wore it with Christian Louboutin Glennalta sandals, a Tyler Ellis clutch and Messika jewels.

3. Margot Robbie
Now, I’m a sucker for stripes so when I saw this dress, of course, I was going to love it! But the details just made me love it more! This dress by Chanel is classy & feminine with an edgy twist. I love the length and the ruffles & her belt with those gems that matched her statement emerald ring perfectly. Can we also talk about her hair & how it’s tied ever so perfectly with a ribbon!

Worst 1. Kate Bosworth
From what I’ve seen & read most people actually really loved this dress. And I have to admit it’s not all bad. This ivory lace Brock Collection dress is very beautiful with the delicate all over lace but it’s the giant ruffles around the waist that I can’t get over! She’s a stunning woman & is capable of pulling off many looks but this one just missed the mark for me. It’s lace gone wrong. But Allison Williams did lace in all the right ways! Her Dolce & Gabbana dress was stunning with the textures of the lace & chiffon together.

When I saw it I thought it looked like a bad 80’s prom dress in that hot pink. Not to mention I just don’t think it’s the most flattering shade of pink for the actress. Now you want to talk about doing bright right, then take a look at Constance Wu’s Galia Lahav tulle dress. This dress is so beautiful in that bright coral it feels like Spring is here & the full tulle skirt is a little reminiscence of a prom dress but in a good way.
