I was very ecstatic when Big Sean and Metro Boomin’ announced they would release an album together. They released a single called “Pull Up and Wreck” months before their album release. This song was very catchy to me. I loved it. In addition to having a good song together, both of them proved to be very good artists. I’ve been a fan of both of them. Because of this, I expected a lot from their upcoming album called “Double or Nothing”.
My Expectations Proved To Be Too MuchBig Sean and Metro Boomin’ released their album this weekend. I was very disappointed. All this hype I gave myself for this album did not prove itself. I was a very big fan of Big Sean’s previous album. Listening to this album was a let-down. Their song “Pull Up and Wreck” was the only good song on the album.
From Now On…I’ll never expect a lot from an album. This album was a huge disappointment to me. I didn’t like any of the songs except for the pre-released song. Big Sean and Metro could have done so much better, but didn’t.
I, Now, Believe..I shouldn’t have high expectations. I may not see eye to eye with the artist releasing the album. Having high expectations allows for me to be let down. If I like the album, then I like it, but if I want to like the album, but don’t, I’ll be disappointed. So, I’ll no longer keep my expectations high when listening to albums.
