This treasury-size comics reprints Flash Comics #1 from 1940, featuring the origin and first appearance of Jay Garrick, the original Flash (Gardner Fox and Harry Lampert), the Hawkman (Gardner Fox), Johnny Thunderbolt (John Wentworth and Stan Aschmeier), “Cliff” Cornwall, Special Agent (Sheldon Moldoff), and the Whip (John Wentworth and George Storm). Also included is a strip called “The Demon Dummy,” about a murderous ventriloquist dummy (Ed Wheelan). (A couple of these were also featured in this book.)
