Four Things People Do I’ll Never Understand

Have you ever thought about the things that you experience or notice throughout the day that just rub you the wrong way?

This week I look at the life of human beings… well in a way. I saw this type of post a few months ago and I just had to compile my own version. It never occurred to be how many weird things go on throughout the day.

Without further ado…

ONE.

The first hit on the list is something that happens on the daily.

Coming to a red light or even simply sitting in your car in a parking lot, you are getting ready to drive out of the parking area so you set up your music, put on your safety belt and well start the car to get going right?

Wrong.

While doing these tasks you will come across someone who is on the phone in their car, be it through a Bluetooth car kit or the traditional device to ear method. But that’s not the weird point.

With the device to their ear, you can still hear their reply because for some off reason they are speaking incredibly loudly. Yelling even.

With the car kit, the volume is turned up which is common but the window(s) are wide open. You can well, clearly hear the person on the other end and the person in the car because guess what? They’re yelling too.

How to fix this? Indoor voice.

Have the car kit? Close your windows.

Enough said.

TWO.

This is something that could so easily be corrected but yet…

You enjoy your meal at a fast food restaurant, be it Mc Donald’s, Burger King or even Steers, and the person and/or persons sitting at a table near by finishes their meal and simply gets up and leaves.

The empty boxes, serviettes, wrappers and cold drink cans/cups are still messily arranged on the table waiting to be disposed of. Why? Why? Why?

Why can’t people just dispose of their trash in the designated bins on their way out and call it a day? There is no excuse.

THREE.

Within the first few minutes of regaining consciousness and ridding my eyes of sleep you are trying to talk to me? I am trying to understand the world all over again and you’re asking me questions?

I have never understood why people would do this and after tweeting about it, I found out that I was not alone.

I believe that the first few minutes of being awake should be silent and relaxing. This is the moment just after realising what you dreamt and the moment before you come to terms with what the day entails.

Please just let us be.

FOUR.

Why does one feel the need to become unnecessarily angry with the restaurant or retail staff?

This is something that I see happen almost every weekend.

Example, your meal seems to be taking a bit little longer than usual but what seems to be the first course of action? Bite off the waiter’s head. The person who simply transports your food from the kitchen to your table. Yes, you can make the waiter aware of the matter, but it can be done civilly, believe it or not.

I always felt sorry for the table when one person makes their annoyance known to the entire restaurant, especially when they all already look embarrassed.
