review 1: I was eager to read "The Angel Stone" to see what became of my favorite characters. Time travel and Scotland were pleasant bonuses. I found that the background information at the beginning was a bit tedious. Once the plot began to unfold, however, I was sucked into the story. A bit sad to see the end but I'll be seeking out other works like this for their readability and the mental escape they offer.
review 2: A strong finish to a thoroughly enjoyable romantic fantasy series. The heroine, Callie has grown and matured throughout the three books. She is no longer the insecure, easily influenced woman who allowed others to persuade her to cast off her demon lover. Her lover is gone forever. He died in his last incarnation, while saving her from the nephilim. But
... moreCallie has no time to mourn. Her friends and students are still being threatened by the nephilim who have overtaken her small college town. Despite her growing powers and her role as doorkeeper, Callie cannot do it alone. She will need the help of her friends, students and even a few old foes to overcome this new threat. The Angel Stone is the key to re-opening the door. But in seeking the Angel Stone, Callie will risk her life. Even more painfully, she will come fact to face with her demon lover before he was cursed. Can she risk loving a man who she must once again leave ? less

Good to finish the series, but the end was a little much for me.
