Romance books have been around a long time! And there have been some that were published a long time ago that are still awesome ones to read and enjoy!!
One of my favorites is by Jude Deveraux. Knight in Shining Armor was published way 
back in 2002. It is still a fave. It’s also a time-travel romance.
It’s the type of story that you can read over and over again and not get tired of it! Jude Deveraux is an excellent story-teller so the descriptions and details about the different times are beautifully done. Definitely worth checking out!

If you like to binge watch tv on Netflix then you most likely have come across the Outlander TV series. I know I did!!
The Outlander Series was first published in 1994. So this one is an oldie but definitely a good one.
The first two books are the season one and two of the tv series!! Season 3 and 4 will follow books 3 and 4. I am very excited to watch this when they come out!
I took the time to read the books again after I binged watched the tv series! The books are so big because Diane Gabaldon goes into immense detail in every scene of her book. You gotta read it!

Another great book to read that was published ages ago is Sharon Sala’s Deep Water. 
Sharon Sala is an author that is in a class all her own. This book was published in 2002.
It’s a suspenseful, engaging novel about a killer that committed the perfect crime!
It’s a stand-alone novel. Sharon Sala is one of my faves!!

Another oldie but goodie is the Anthology Upon a Midnight Clear. This was published in 1997.
This one has 5 short stories from some very talented authors.
Jude Deveraux, Linda Howard, Margaret Allison, Step Ann Holm, and Mariah Stewart got together and gave us short, sweet and interesting stories in this anthology!
The stories are just short enough to read in one sitting but long enough to be interesting!
