review 1: I liked this book, especially the first half. Once they got engaged, it actually seemed to slow down, a LOT. I did enjoy how it showed his side of the story, and enjoyed reading the story because it follows along the general storyline of Pride and Prejudice. However, it took me several days to finish the last part of the book, because it was a lot of them going on a on and how much they adore each other and blah, blah. Was it worth reading? Yes. Did I like it? Yes...not love, but liked.
review 2: Despite the negative reviews I have been seeing regarding this novel, I must say I enjoyed it. I like that it was from Mr. Darcy's point of view and gave us a look at what it was like to see the world through his eyes. While the author took liberties with the char... moreacters and added to the original ending of P&P, I felt that it was an overall enjoyable read. I will keep this book as part of my Pride and Prejudice collection. less
