Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Mass (Throne of Glass #3)

“Celaena has survived deadly contests and shattering heartbreak―but at an unspeakable cost. Now, she must travel to a new land to confront her darkest truth . . . a truth about her heritage that could change her life―and her future―forever. Meanwhile, brutal and monstrous forces are gathering on the horizon, intent on enslaving her world. Will Celaena find the strength to not only fight her inner demons, but to take on the evil that is about to be unleashed?

The bestselling series that has captured readers all over the world reaches new heights in this sequel to the New York Times best-selling Crown of Midnight. Packed with heart-pounding action, fierce new characters, and swoon-worthy romance, this third book will enthrall readers from start to finish.”

I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH!!! It’s hard to put into words. My heart just breaks into little pieces when I think of this book. *Sigh* We also meet lots of new characters. SOOOOOO many!!! This book was so great. Highly imaginative and beautifully woven, Celeana’s story starts to unravel a bit more in this. Especially after that explosive ending of Crown of Midnight. And Celaena was soooo strong. Yes, she was kind of broken at the starting, but she kept going on. And I love that about her.

I could go on about this book forever, but I’m going to try not to go on too much (emphasis on try). There’s a couple of new big characters introduced in this book, and normally I’d find that kind of thing a bit overwhelming but it was done perfectly. I loved all of the new characters, especially Rowan and Manon. I’m so glad the book was as long as it was, I even wished it was longer – I found myself trying to savour the last 200 pages by reading extra slow because I didn’t want it to end (at the same time fighting the need to finish it all immediately).
