Hello, hello!
You know what I love about this time of year?? The festivity of the holidays. Everything is so cheery and chipper. There’s logs on the fire and gifts under the tree.
Every day this month I’ve put on some Christmas pyjamas and I’ve eaten at least one thing that’s considered Christmas-y.
I do, clearly, celebrate Christmas, so my apologies to anyone who doesn’t and feels misrepresented while reading my blogs; but I would really not like to include things that I know nothing about, because that is only going to offend people more, lol. So essentially all my posts for this month will be about Christmas (if they are holiday related).
I spend a lot of my Christmas holidays watching Christmas films. I love a good Christmas classic. And not only that, but I watch some of them all year round; I watch Love Actually in July and The Holiday in the Fall. I have no shame….
But one thing I realized that I haven’t done much of in the recent years, is read some Christmas books (of which I’ve realized there are a lot). I love reading, but I rarely make time for it lately. But a book by Holly Martin actually sparked me to read some Christmas-based books. (Previously I’ve read books that had Christmas scenes in them, like Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. But I don’t tend to read CHRISTMAS BOOKS, you know?)
So I’ve compiled a list that I happened to have on my shelf (and on my kindle), to share with everyone in case anyone else wanted to read along with me
