Yale enters the match on a five-game winning streak, outscoring their opponents 37-9 during that stretch. Look for Kobe Verbicky to extend his current nine-game point streak, which dates back all the way to October 1st. Puck drop is at 12:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Elite 15s and Midget Prep are traveling to Penticton this weekend for games against their counterparts from the Okanagan Hockey Academy.
The E15s have been red-hot through the month of November with a perfect 5-0 record. They enter this weekend on a six-game winning streak led by the usual suspects up front, including Michael Milne who has tallied multiple points in five straight games. In net, Cam Connolly has recorded two shutouts in his last three starts. The E15s two-game series against OHA begins Saturday night.
The Midget Prep Lions are hungry for a big bounce-back performance after a rare stumble saw the team drop back-to-back games on the Island last week. Look for team captain Holden Kodak to lead the charge for the Lions, alongside fellow points-leaders Nicholas Amsler, Scout Truman and Bryce Anderson. Yale plays OHA Red on Saturday afternoon, and OHA White on Sunday.
