So I have begun reading this book and I have a nasty habit of skipping the introduction as it isn’t imperative to my reading of the book. I know why I was given or buy the book BUT I have started to read the introduction and that gives a lot of background to what your about to get into.
“The truth is that until you learn to face the truth, you are never going to find the love you so desperately want. The truth is that love is buried in your soul, and no relationship with anyone can unearth it or activate it in your life.”
(Vanzant p18)
That was in the introduction to In the Meantime by Iyanla Vanzant
This spoke to me like nothing else EVEN THOUGH friends and family have all said it. It has to be “found” by myself in some other form for it to be true (LOL)
So as I’ve said in another entry I’m starting to love myself and it feels good. I’ve lost 15 lbs and I’m going to see a Personal Trainer. I even thought about alternative medicine (Message Therapy) for when I start and continue as it’s going to hurt sometimes and I want an alternate way to curb the pain. So I’ve been on Thumbtack which is a app that brings services like this to you!
(I don’t get paid for any advertising that I do on this page.) I don’t think I have enough followers. Lol
But with this I bid you good night!
Be Well!
