True power is never held by good men, only the most perfect of villains. And she and I are both villains…I stole her from her precious cartel, and now she’s my pretty little pawn. She should fear me, but she doesn’t. I’ll have to teach her…
I put a gun to her head and she holds a knife to my throat. Round and round we go, inviting the sickness that consumes us both. We play our twisted game with sweet threats and cruel promises, neither backing down. I crave her madness in the most depraved ways.
Only a woman as ruthless as Camilla could ever make me weak, and she’d love to watch me crumble.
Two very bad people who want very bad things are never safe together.
Some love stories have no heroes.
Bad isn’t my favourite mafia romance novel but it’s still up there among my new favourites.
Bad is a savage, wild book. It’s a book filled with schemes upon schemes… and it’s so addictive. Bad is sick and twisted. You can’t how it sucks you up into the story and makes you crave for it…
Camilla is a bad ass. Ronan is ruthless, a force to be reckoned with. Camilla and Ronan together is match made in sinister heaven. They are cold, calculated, independent yet strangely beautiful together.
Camilla is no Damsel in distress. She is a mother F******g bad ass. She is just as ruthless, just as deranged (In a good way) as Ronan. They have perfected the ability to wear so many different ‘masks’ to fool people, to influence people but when they are together, they don’t hide the ugliness, craziness of the their abilities… you can’t help but say “wow”. They are twisted individually but together? they are a force to be reckoned with. It’s the darkness attracts these two souls to each other.
People like Camilla and Ronan? they are well acquainted with the evils of the world, they have welcomed it with open arms and molded it to their benefit and they have risen above the ashes of their past.
To be honest I don’t know what to think about this book. There were moments that were brutally barbaric and moments where you couldn’t help but respect their devious personalities.
On a side note: Yes, It’s all part of the grand plan but I really felt bad for Ana…but then she had to open her mouth and turn into a bitch. Whelp! There goes my sympathy.
I love how gutsy and fearless Camilla is …she doesn’t fear Ronan, a man who oozes power, a man who has such raw authority, a man who makes even the strongest of men weep into a puddle of nerves.
Here’s the biggest kicker: Camilla and Ronan? They aren’t together…They can’t trust each other…so imagine… if this is what they can do now…what are they capable of together?
This book end on a F****g cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
