March [2017] Wrap Up

I know its almost a full week into April but I’ve been so disappointed with my reading that I pushed this post as far back as I could. So in the month of March I read, wait for it… a total of two books which is a definite improvement over last months one (I didn’t even do a wrap up) if you noticed. Anyway I’ll quit my moping now and just get to the books:

what I hauled*
  • It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover
  • Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson
  • This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
  • The Circle by Dave Eggers
  • what I read*

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover:

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

A heart-breaking book about love, loss, friendship, forgiveness and it gives you so much to think about on the topic of how romantic partners are supposed to treat us.
Full review can be found here.

This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales:

My Rating: 4.5 of 5 stars

Its surprising how rare it is to find a book/character that you can relate to as a person. This is that book for me. Leila Sales just managed to capture (so accurately) my social anxiety and how living with it makes life difficult but not impossible.

    The Circle by Dave Egger:

My Rating: 4 of 5 stars

I picked this book up because I saw the movie trailer and Emma Watson! So of course I has to pick this up and ended up loving it because it gave me so much to think about.

Huh, turns out I read three books which is actually not so bad. Aside from that though I’m finally on vacation from uni so I can catch up on everything thats been going on in the book blogosphere and finally relax for once.
