review 1: This was such an entertaining read. I finished the book in less than a day, since I was completely thrilled about it. The author has such a fun way of writing things, turning this book into a more humorous type of story. Thumbs up for that. Then, the way Hayley starts changing her way of seeing herself in such a pessimistic way to the way she finally embraced her curvy body and her differences made this book even better. The descriptions were beyond flawless. I felt like I was in Italy. The thing was that her summer romance began in a sudden and then it all went too rushed, but I guess that's an italian thing? Anyhow, this was an amazing book. I totally recommend it.
review 2: As an adult reading the story, I very much enjoyed it. I appreciate that the main cha
... moreracter, Hayley, is a likable girl that anyone can relate to. If I was a parent, however, I'm not fully sure that I would want my teenage daughter to read it. I like that Hayley was overall a very mature girl and that makes this a great coming-of-age story. I like that she was not fully obsessed with her weight and that she figured out to love herself while finding a healthy way to lose weight. I even like that she finds love. I just wished that the topic of sex would have be handled a little bit more seriously.Otherwise, I think it's a very cute book. less
