My little chiweenie has finally experienced the hunting life and she’s loving it. Maya, 6 to 7 yr old chiweenie, has gone every where we go including fishing on hot and rough days or shopping. (There aren’t many dog friendly places where we live) I was worried in the beginning that she wouldn’t like being cooped up in a cold blind but I was wrong, kind of. Maya is literally a toddler but doesn’t talk back, she gets fussy and whiny but if we tucker her out she’ll literally sleep the whole time we are in the blind. She only wakes up when she can tell me or Johnboi are excited cause we saw a deer or a hog but for the most part she’s knocked out. I was worried that she would be cold and I haven’t found any insulated suites for little dogs but I got the next best thing. Some of my insulated suites and jackets are big enough to where she can either sit or lay down, so she won’t be freezing in the blind while we are warm. Many people don’t notice her and some people think I’m either big or pregnant but having the extra pounds have given me a morsel of what pregnancy could be like. Even though she might be comfy in my jacket, I’ve been using those hand warmers and stuffing them with her so she feels extra toasty. Taking my little chiweenie makes everywhere I go makes it more fun and I can’t imagine her not being in my life. Do you have any stories about your pets…leave a comment below.
