How are you doing? It is indeed a Happy New Year! Hope all of you had a great celebration. Me, I watched the fireworks display in Burj Al Arab on New Years Eve. And it is so magical and enchanting, definitely a great start for 2018!
Speaking of magical and enchanting, why not talk about perfumes?
I used to be that cologne lady who loves splashing colognes or body mist but lately, I’ve been loving wearing perfumes.
It all started when my friend shared her favourite perfume to me, which is the Emporio Armani’s Because it’s you and told me that I should try it sometime. I was surprised that on my birthday, she gave me that perfume as a gift.
I won’t lie, at first I didn’t like the smell at all. Being a lady who used to wear just light and baby smelling scents, it was to overpowering for me. But the second time of using it on a date with my boyfriend, and not to mention he liked it, I started loving it.
I got addicted on perfumes since then.
So, here’s the run-down of my most loved perfumes, be it for special occasions or daily use.
Because it’ you by Emporio Armani
As I’ve mentioned, it is a gift from my friend and is one her favourites.
I love wearing this when going out with friends. It has a happy, delicious and sparkling scent that makes you feel irresistible yet elegant.
Perfect for sexy casual outfits.
And it is super long lasting, you will definitely need to spray it only once and will linger till evening.

Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs
This is the perfect scent for summer and I love wearing it on days that I feel carefree, free and cheerful.
Usually on going out for walks in the park or beach. It is light, airy and smells so feminine. Plus, the bottle is so cute and adorable!
It is fruity and floral at the same time. Scent doesn’t last that long, I will have to reapply it after 3 to 4 hours.
Top notes: blackberry, fresh grapefruit and succulent pear
Heart notes: jasmine flower, lychee and blue wisteria
Base notes: white woods, musk and coconut water
Chloe Love Story
I just adore how elegant and chic the packaging of this perfume is. Bottle looks so sophisticated and feminine. Maybe that’s why it is one of the most popular perfume for women and also a perfect gift.
It is, I must say, a perfume for special occasions. It can come too strong or overpowering on the first spray but it wore off to a fresh and florally scent. I wear it rarely, on days like a special dinner party or gatherings which complements a dressier outfits.
When I first used it, I got a ton of compliments. It has this unforgettable essence of seduction which is fresh and sensual at the same time. It is pretty long lasting too, comparable to the staying power of Emporio Armani’s Because it’s you.

Gucci Bamboo
Gucci Bamboo is my work day perfume. I use it everyday and is a staple on my work handbag.
The scent emanates a woman’s diverse side, femininity, confidence, savvy and strength. It is soft and intense at once. It is like a scent that most older women will like and I love it coz of its uniqueness.
Top notes: sandalwood, heady Tahitian vanilla
Heart notes: unique amber accords
Base notes: soft Casablanca Lilly, feminine orange blossom and delicate ylang ylang
Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent
Want to smell sexy and seductive? Then wear this perfume from YSL. It is a must perfume on date nights complements your little black or red dress. I am using this usually on dinner dates with my boyfriend.
It is highly addictive because of the mix of black coffee, white florals and vanilla. You will find yourself sniffing this on its bottle!
It is the only perfume that makes me feel sexy yet elegant, fascinating, bold and intoxicating.
I like wearing it on winter months too, coz of the deep sensuality scent. It will make you smell yourself all the time. And trust me, you will get plenty of compliments wearing this.

Heiress by Paris Hilton
This one smells like bubble gum and candies, it can be awfully sweet for some. But I love this on days that I’m feeling girly, cute and young. Perfect for everyday wear for younger fun-loving women.
I just don’t like wearing it on summer days, just because it can be too sweet for the hotter days, so I don’t recommend it.
Top notes: passion fruit, orange, juicy peach, mimosa and champagne
Heart notes: accords of star jasmine, tiare lily, ylang ylang, honeysuckle and grenadine
Base notes: violet leaf, Tahiti Tonka and light wood
