Mylchreest and Lofthouse forced to withdraw from Pairs game

Peter Mylchreest and Ged Lofthouse have been forced to withdraw from this years pairs tournament.

It is something they have had to do as Mylchreest will be London at the time of the game as he is on holiday.

This means Peter Sims and Alan Green of the Arkles have been given a bye in the block of games that take place at the Claremont on Monday.

Mylchreest said “It’s unfortunate because of the way the games are set out, we could have rearranged it if it was just a single game, but when its a block like that, its impossible to rearrange.”

“It’s a shame because me and Ged play really well together, we really do make each other better players.” He added.

Lofthouse repeated his skippers sentiments adding “I really like practicing with Peter, we play really well together and know each others games as well.”

Both will be back in action when they travel to the Glasshouse for the league game and the Charlie Frost game on February 27.
