New Series Alerts

Welp, I would’ve had this posted earlier, but I fell asleep laying on my face, all lights on and tv volume cranked up, and apparently lapsed into a coma. It was lovely. But moving on, let’s take a look at what new series we have starting up this week, beginning with Nikki Jefford‘s Wolf Hollow. It is the first book of the Wolf Hollow Shifters series.

Synopsis…

A REBELLIOUS OUTCAST

Cocky. Coy. Wolf shifter. Tabor is the hollow’s only half-breed, scorned and forbidden to use his powers. Constantly overlooked despite his strengths, Tabor believes Sasha is as shortsighted as the rest of the pack until she proves there’s more to her than a blindly obedient lapdog to the council.

A DUTIFUL PUREBLOOD

Spirited, stubborn, and deeply loyal, Sasha feels the pressure from her pack to claim another pureblood, yet no one is brazen enough to defy the elders and toy with her . . . no one besides a sexy, hotheaded half-breed.

AN ATTRACTION THAT THREATENS THE FUTURE OF THE PACK

Bewildered by the deceptively proud and surprisingly sensual Sasha, Tabor would risk everything to claim her. Despite her vanishing bloodline, Sasha can’t resist the charismatic half-breed even as predators threaten their pack and the elders pressure her to breed with a pureblood.

In a fantastical post-apocalyptic world, where only the strongest survive, sometimes trusting the heart is the bravest act of all.

Gallize. Not Gazelle. Yes! Got it. Dianna Love‘s Gray Wolf Mate came out today, and it is the first book of the League of Gallize Shifters series.

Synopsis…

Eight years ago, shifters came out to the public and, since then, the world has never been the same for many.

Tess Janver and Cole Cavanaugh fell deeply in love in college … then he disappeared without a word. She feared the worst, or thought she had. After seven years, he returns as a beefed up version of his former self. That’s not the only thing different. As someone working in a preternatural criminal investigation unit and the daughter of a senator determined to rid the world of dangerous shifters, Tess is caught between performing her duty to humans, protecting the only family she has left and risking her heart to a man who once destroyed it.

Cole had no choice in becoming a Gallize shifter and now faces a deadline from a fatal mating curse he can’t stop. The only woman he’s ever loved is human and wouldn’t survive bonding with him. He never planned on Tess finding out he was a wolf shifter, but she’s in danger from a rogue pack. He’s not leaving until she’s safe … and he has a chance to redeem himself in her eyes before his time is up.

This third one is from Elizabeth Cole. Keep Me Close starts off the new The Brothers Salem series.

Synopsis…

Dominic Salem is many things: professional ghost hunter, curse breaker, and demon slayer to name a few. If there’s one thing he’s learned, it’s never pick up hitchhikers. Something odd about this one made him stop. No doubt he’ll regret it.

Lavinia “Vinny” Wake doesn’t exactly trust her smoking hot ride, but her nightmares have her all messed up. The only thing she has faith in is her art. Life on her own is lonely, but at least no one can break her heart.

Dom can tell Vinny’s nightmares aren’t just dreams–they’re way worse. Something or someone is drawing her into its trap. Turns out, though, Vinny’s life isn’t the only thing at stake. Her soul is on the line, too. No pressure.

And the final one for this week is The Phoenix Code. It is the first book of Bryn Donovan‘s new Knights of Manus Sancti series.

Synopsis…

He was sent to kill her…
Now, he’s desperate to protect her.

When Jonathan West, a battle-scarred warrior with supernatural gifts, is sent to Phoenix to execute a witch for practicing dark enchantments, it doesn’t take him long to discover his target is innocent— and the beauty of her soulscape and her untamed spirit make his blood sing.

Cassie Rios, divorced and recently unemployed, has no idea why wild animals have started mauling and even killing anyone who sparks her fury. She realizes she’s a danger to everyone around her, and Jonathan and his shadow organization may be her only hope.

As she learns to control the magic she never would have chosen, she and Jonathan surrender to the white-hot desire that flares between them. But the secret society of Manus Sancti has its own seductions, and she soon faces a choice that could lead to her destruction.

Honestly, I haven’t read any of these four authors before, but I found these listings when I was doing a hunt through Amazon for something new to read. I haven’t been able to keep up with my plans of reading one new-to-me author a week because of my ongoing Jane Yellowrock marathon (I am now up to Blood of the Earth), but one day I will get back on track. Maybe.

Are you checking out any of these new series? Do you have any experience with any of the authors before, and if you did what did you think?
