We start out this book after Bridgette and Bodhi have already met. They both have felt the connection and draw to be with the other but each have their own personal reasons why a relationship with the other is not going to happen. The journey we go on to see them progress from friends, to friends-with-benefits, to even more is so emotional and heartwarming. I won’t spoil too much of it but I will tell you this: the author will tug at all your emotions with this read.
In typical Melissa Foster fashion, both the Hero and the heroine of this book are so relatable and lovable that the reader can’t help but want all good things to happen in their life. And Bodhi’s relationship with Louie?! Oh my goodness I think my ovaries cheered for that. The were a few moments where we caught up with the other Dalton siblings and that just makes me eager to see what happens in their lives next. I honestly don’t know if I have anything negative to say about this book, other than I wish there was more of it. If you haven’t read other Melissa Foster books, you’re missing out – this one will help start your new obsession.
