Title – The Wright Brother
Author – K.A. Linde
Release Date – February 28, 2017
I’d dated his brother.
He didn’t remember and I wish I could forget.
I may have sworn off the Wright family a long time ago. But when I returned home, Jensen Wright crashed into my life with the confidence of a billionaire CEO and the sex appeal of a god. Even I couldn’t resist our charged chemistry, or the way he fit into my life like a missing puzzle piece.
Too bad he’d forgotten the one thing that could destroy us.
Because Jensen Wright doesn’t share. Not with anyone. And if his brother finds out, this could all go down in flames.
When it all was said and done, was he the Wright brother?
I absolutely adore the fact that KA Linde dapples in several different genres, yet seems to excel no matter the setting. She creates characters that intrigue you with a plot that seems to naturally drive itself forward. The Wright Brother was no exception with its push and pull relationship between Jensen and Emery. The novel was one that left me turning page after page, unable to tear myself away.
“It was a life-shifting kiss. One of those that came only once in a lifetime. The kind that you didn’t want to mean more.”
Jensen and Emery had chemistry that seemed to crackle, sizzle, and pop right off the page. They were so much fun to watch with their back and forth antics. Furthermore, I admired that it didn’t feel done for drama’s sake. All the ups and downs that ensued felt genuine for the backstories Linde gave these two. The story may be fictional, but every emotion was heartfelt and I found myself falling in love right beside the hero and heroine. They both had something to bring to the table and something that held them back, and yet they complemented each other in the most perfect of ways.
“You wanted it to be a lust-induced kiss in the dark, but you couldn’t even fool yourself. This one was everything.”
The Wright Brother was all about Jensen Wright, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want something for the rest of the Wright siblings as well. I appreciated the balance of this book being about Emery’s growth, while simultaneously wetting my appetite for the secondary characters Linde introduced. There’s a special quality about the way this author writes that will absolutely leave you satisfied, yet yearning for more too. I’m already giddy in anticipation of where she will go next!
