Even though I had some issues with the ease with which Jace took Colton back, Jace’s overly dramatic near-exit and the whole drama with (view spoiler)[ the accident (hide spoiler)] , I really enjoyed this book.
This book was very well written and touched me emotionally . I was especially touched while I read about the events that lead to & the aftermath of the steamy getaway these two had in college.
O and Colton’s dad deserves to be put in the deepest pits of hell. He was such an avaricious, evil, disgusting character. Grrrrr -_-
This ended on an HFN for our two MCs and a mild cliffy on the search for the bad guy. Hopefully that would be sorted in the next book which I’m definitely getting and coincidentally was recommended by a book pal.
