review 1: Red Phoenix sure knows how to pack a punch within a small amount of writing! Loving Amy is a short, sensual read that gives you a great introduction to the end of one relationship and the start of another. At one point I wanted to kick one female character in the book for being a big B-word. But she helped to bring about what I look to be a chase for Troy and Amy.Look forward to the next in the series!
review 2: I feel like I read the first chapter of what could be a good book. It was predictable and I didn't care for either Troy or Amy. That being said it would be interesting to see how Troy gets himself out of the situation he got himself into. The sex scene was hot but I wonder how much of it Amy will remember. Will Troy's chivalry get overlooked by Amy beca... moreuse she'd had so much to drink? I've never been a big fan of drunk sex scenes for that very reason.This was so short that I'm not sure there was enough time/story to get me to go looking for the rest of this series. less
