Red is a remarkable chapter book that shares the true story of Red Riding Hood. Red is a brave and courageous girl. She does not fear the Big Bad Wolf. In fact, there are not many things that she fears… except magic. And when her beloved grandmother falls ill and a magic spell is the only thing that can save her, Red must face her fear for the sake of curing her grandmother. She embarks on a journey to obtain the magical spell and encounters many familiar fairy tale characters along the way including Goldie, who joins her on her adventure. Together they trek through the caverns of the seven dwarves and the castle of the beast, all while being followed by a wolf and a huntsmen who are seeking help to defeat each other. Readers will be fascinated by this fun and fantastical story full of imagination and surprises.
