Synopsis: Rom, Terminator, and Starshine find a group of Drakillars (Dire Wraith attack ships) attacking a Galador hospital ship. Having recently lost his beloved Ray-Na, Rom is particularly vicious. After dispatching the Wraiths, they go inside the ship and find it full of dead bodies. They move throughout the ship and eventually find survivors but their skin has colored splotches. They ask that the spaceknights kill them. Before they can discuss it, Terminator shoots the power core causing the ship to explode. The spaceknights escape but the entire ship with everyone else on board is destroyed.
Starshine freaks out about Terminator’s murdering of the people on the ship. He explains that they had been infected with a Wraith Plague that there is no cure for. A planet called Thayri was a peaceful world in the Golden Galaxy, but when the Wraiths infected them with the Wraith Plague everyone died except for Terminator who was turned into a spaceknight. He tells them that unlike Rom and Starshine he has no humanity to return to.
Notes: This was a good quick, if dark origin for Terminator. The art for this story seems a bit rushed but Buscema’s still a great artist.
